Vice

February in Vienna. We are shooting an album cover for a CD of Barber and Argento Songs. Featuring the american Tenor Jason Bridges and pianist Chanda VanderHart. Longing for summer days, we reflect on 60s chic, theres an echo of Lana del Rey and the car lot were shooting in creates the perfect Vice City backdrop.

The whole point is to break boundaries. These days, the artists I work with are so with the times, that there really is no other way but to redefine what our art stands for. Its a process begun long ago.

Diary: No Fashion this time

No fashion weeks this time round. Fellow bloggers are running up and down 'Somerset' while I head for Vienna once again. Looking forward to shooting an album cover and meeting yet more singers based in Austria. Surly its finally time for spring, I put my blue shoes on. Looking at Bach Motets and the standard repertoire for the season, St John Passion. That puts your mind off things.

Film ... Bel Canto Bella Voce

The film was produced and shot for the Bel Canto Bella Voce masterclass series based in Vienna. I was keen to capture both the nostalgia and the vibrant nature of Classical Voice and the training it entails, in the surroundings of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Un hommage pour mes amis.
